For over 25 years, IntelliTools, Kurzweil Educational Systems, and Acceleration Station have been leading sources for educational technology to help students learn to their fullest potential, serving students who use assistive technology, have reading or learning disabilities, struggle with limited English proficiency, or need additional instructional support for any other reason.

Commitment to differentiated instruction

Cambium Learning Technologies supports the principles of universal design for learning. These include multiple means of representation, multiple means of expression, and multiple means of engagement, to help students who are struggling with challenging concepts.

For example, IntelliTools' products support different learning styles to help all students become engaged and motivated, incorporating large text, graphics, color, animation, onscreen manipulation, multimedia modeling, speech output, recorded sounds, single-switch scanning, and automatic sending of IntelliKeys overlays. Kurzweil Educational Systems' products provide the scaffolding need for struggling students to access the curriculum—with access to text from printed material, electronic files, or the Internet. Kurzweil products' visual highlighting helps students track text as it is read aloud.
